Ketlg̱ax̱yé (Place Where Dog Cries)

This name comes from a Tlingit story of a flood. During the flood a dog was heard crying and the dog turned into a rock [3]. This point may be reached by trail beginning about two miles from town. The scenic beaches here are rich in flowers.
